Peter Goes To Partick
March 9, 2007Urgh – I can’t believe it’s nearly a year since I last posted on here! Oh well, must try harder, I guess.
Anyway….
We recently hooked up a hi-fi that still had a tape deck on it, and I’m now happily listening to an old Recording of Peter Goes To Partick, from the Cameron House on 2nd Feb 1990! I’m going to try and digitise some of the tracks, but for now here’s a list of what’s on the tape (according to the long-ago scribbled cover notes).

i used to roadie for the band,changing guitar strings for stevie murray(vocals)& gooshy(lead guitar)i remember tommy the drummer well,bumped into him a few times in clydebank shopping centre.
did you manage to digialtize you tape?
as i’ve already transfered the excact tape to cd recently.
my brother-inlaw has many recordings of the band on tape,so has ask me to try and do the same for those ones.

WOW .. I’m gob smacked a PGTP website, i’ve sat here for an hour or so rockin my socks off .. Me and my sis Sandra and our wee crew .. including Gooshy and Tam’s misses Susan and Catrina, have been the bands groupies (otherwise refered to as the rock chicks with harmonising backing vocals .. backing being right at the back of the pub .. lol) through many changes over the years .. We’re all off to see the new updated “Touch and Go” on Friday .. will drop some stories off next time i’m on here .. What a great surprise to see all the old vid’s .. Rock on Dude’s
